Stellies UnCorked Wine Experience is a premier wine-tasting event that brings together Stellenbosch University alumni in Somerset, England to enjoy the finest wines from South Africa’s top wine farms. This event is a celebration of the vibrant South African wine culture and showcases the best of the country’s wine regions and varietals.

The tasting menu features five exquisite wines, each carefully selected for its unique character and exceptional quality. The event will begin with the Kanu Viognier from Stellenbosch, a fragrant and fruity white wine with hints of tropical fruit and a subtle floral aroma. The second wine is an unoaked Chardonnay from Seven Springs Vineyard, a crisp and refreshing wine with bright citrus notes and a clean finish.

The third wine is the Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir, a silky and smooth red wine with a light body and bright acidity. This will be followed by the Leenders Wine Sielverkoper blend, a bold and spicy red blend with aromas of dark fruit and earthy notes. The final wine of the evening is the Guillermo Pinotage from Painted Wolf Wines, a full-bodied and robust red wine with rich flavours of black cherry, plum, and chocolate.

Throughout the tasting, guests will enjoy a selection of platters on their tables, including bread, salad, cheeses, and charcuterie. These delicious pairings will complement the flavours of the wines and enhance the overall tasting experience.
