4 wines from different wine farms in South Africa with picnic platters to pair
What to expect?
Hosted by Gerhard & Michelle from Time to Wine Down, you’ll learn more about a variety of South African wines (and try them of course!) as well as enjoy a delicious grazing platter while listening to stories from each of these wonderful wineries.
Pre-drinks are available from a selective drinks menu from 18:30
Tasting with stories and food pairing from 7 to 9/9:30 pm at The Mendip Pantry
We can cater for special dietary requirements.

The 4 Wines we’ll be tasting and pairing:
- Mischa Chenin Blanc,
- Leenders Rose,
- Kanu Pinotage,
- Benguela Cove Cabernet Sauvignon
We’ll be taking our tour from Mischa Wine Estate in Wellington, stopping over at each of the other wine farms, sharing some of their stories and giving you the opportunity to experience the tastes of pairing with different foods.
You are welcome to arrive early for pre-drinks from the Café Drinks menu and you can purchase the wine to enjoy during the evening as well as to take home.
