The Wine: A dry Colombard with layers of fruit (tropical fruit & guava), rounded off by ever so slight wooding, resulting in a complex and rounded wine. The balance between the soft, delicate fruit aromas and taste and the creaminess that is felt in the wine is excellent and makes it a wine drinkable during both the day and evening.
Food Pairing: A Lovely wine that can be enjoyed on its own but pairs well with sea food, poultry or veal.

In the Vineyard: North-facing vineyard (2 ha) at Tanagra (McGregor), at almost 140m altitude, registered as Single Vineyard. Early morning hand selected harvest to optimize grape quality. Processed in an inert system to prevent oxidation. Grapes were crushed/ de-stemmed and taken through a juice cooler, before getting into an inert wine press. Only the top quality juice were drained with a gentle press juice. The clarification was done naturally and the clarified juice was used for fermentation. Wild yeast fermented and for 6 months on the lees. Wood matured for just 1 month in an older, third filled (neutral) vessel before bottling.
